The brand was established in Slovenia over 50 years ago and is renowned for its sleek sophistication, with quality appliances, stylish interiors and innovative light-weight design. The introduction of 4 new models brings the Adria range to a total of 8 caravans and 3 motorhomes, with a variety of markets catered for.
National Sales Manager, Kim Haywood commented “the feedback that we receive on a regular basis about Adria products is outstanding. The light-weight modern builds allow for a larger market to enjoy the self-drive lifestyle without having to purchase a new tow vehicle”.
“We know that Adria’s quality and affordability hold significant appeal within the Australian market, and we see the new range catering for a wider range of customers.”
Weighing in at only 1600kg ATM, the new Aviva 472 PK caravan is a well thought-out, super lightweight family van, sleeping up to 5. It features twin rear bunks, convertible dinette bed, and fixed double bed, as well as an intelligently designed kitchen and bathroom, all within its 17ft body length. The Aviva 472 PK showcases the high end European finishes that Adria is known for, with a twist. Pops of colour as well as unique storage and construction methods have been used to keep the weight low and the design fresh.
Adria Australia is also welcoming the new light-weight champion of the caravan fleet, the Action 361 LT. Its 13 foot body and 1400kg ATM should not be underestimated as the Action 361 LT still packs a punch when it comes to features. Its aerodynamic exterior houses a functional and cleverly designed interior without sacrificing the bathroom or kitchen. The large café dinette is accompanied by Adria’s famous panoramic window to enhance holiday pit stops, bringing the outside in. At night, the dinette transforms into a sleeping area for 2 travellers.
In 2016 Adria introduced a ‘Sports Upgrade’ specifically for the Australian Altea caravans allow customers to explore further than ever before. The ‘Sports Upgrade’ offered modifications to the standard models including increased ground clearance, larger wheel size, 130L water tank and checker plating. Due to a positive response from the Australian market, the Adria ‘Sports Upgrade’ is now standard across all Australian caravan models from 2017 onwards.
In an Adria Australia first, the release of the eagerly awaited Twin 600 SP campervan is set to impress the adventurous camper market. Sleeping 2 and seat belted for 4, the Twin 600 SP is built on a Fiat Ducato van platform and has been built to maximise living space while preserving all of the necessitates. From the Twin 600 SP’s intelligently designed centralised toilet to the fixed rear bed, Adria has proved successful in the science of manufacturing a great campervan.
Also joining the Adria line-up is the Coral XL 660 SCS Motorhome with a full queen-sized rear slide-out, sleek intelligently designed seating and sleeping for up to 5 travellers. Driven on the Fiat Ducato 2.3L and measuring just over 24ft, the prototype Coral SCS has already been turning heads at consumer shows.
“We’ve had great feedback from the public on the new Coral SCS motorhome. Customers were always impressed with the European finishes and large storage capabilities of the previous models, so it comes as no surprise that a fixed rear slide-out has been a hit. We are eagerly awaiting the public response to the new Twin 600 SP campervan as the Europeans know how to utilise space with a unique flair”, stated Haywood.
